I can't believe it's already been over a month since we headed with a group of photographers and some gorgeous models to the beautiful Joshua Tree National Park. Planning this styled shoot was a dream. Isn't it magical when you can dream up something and watch it all come together in the most perfect way. The first part of the day we had set up different areas of details to photograph at the AirBnb rental we had. Which btw was so flipping gorgeous! We had amazing invites by the talented Hello I'm Kate. She designed 2 invitation suites, that tied perfectly with our two themes, Rock and Roll Wedding and Boho Chic. Dawn with The Nature of Things provided the floral bouquets, the boutonniere and the gorgeous head piece that our model Martina wore. Another area that we styled was our signature "Donut Cake"! Nearly every workshop GG has done we have some element of donuts involved because well...Donuts! Meanwhile we had all the models around different areas of the house ready for the camera. Which I must give a huge THANK YOU to our models, they really rocked it in everyway, and couldn't have been any sweeter <3

We headed to the park, and arrived at our Mockingbird destination. Everyone formed in groups and began shooting, and seriously magic was happening everywhere. There was no pressure to get the perfect shot, there was time to experiement, and really enjoy Photography in the best way! We had and absolute blast and we hope all the attenddess did too! We are so excited to announce our next weekly challenge! The last weekly challenge, GOLDEN RULE, was a blast, so we decided to start up another one! This one is all about black and white photography, and using your creativity to create an image with a black and white processing in mind. So often, we shoot for color and change to black & white after. We challenge you! This project will last 6 weeks long, and you are welcome to share on Facebook and Instagram, Tag us and we'll feature you! It's that easy <3

Do you want to bulk up your senior portfolio? Do you want to photograph young willing real life seniors? Well now is your chance. If you have be part of Golden Girls Workshops before then you know when we do something, we go all out and this style shoot will be no exception.

We are estimating anywhere between 6-8 models, all different styles, different looks and were creating amazing vignettes all perfectly set up for you to photograph to your hearts content!

Space will be extremely limited due to time restraints. This styled shootout will last 4 hours and will take place at a beautiful log cabin, in Running Springs, in the San Bernardino Mountains.
